The city has seven public parks with tennis courts, basketball courts, pools, weekend concerts, volleyball, and don’t forget about the fun available at the beach. The beach ‘strand’, which is used for walking, jogging, biking, and roller skating, winds around the beach running from Marina Del Rey to the north, and goes south past Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach and Torrance Beach to just below the rocky cliffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
